THE PRIVATE FAMILY BIKE TOUR OF PARIS (3h)

At French adventures, we understand how frustrating big, expensive, foreign cities can be especially for families travelling with kids. That is why we have designed our private family tours to accommodate the needs of families visiting Paris - outside of our public tour times. We'll go at your group's pace, change our tours to fit your itinerary, adapt our route for kids, stop at our favorite French bakery, and make Paris feel a lot more manageable in the process. It is great for families who want to experience Paris together in an intimate setting. We share stories and history about Paris geared towards making it really fun and educational for kids ( we might even add a little quiz in at the end to test the kids ! ). Our tour route is also very easy & safe, as we stick to bike lanes, quaint one-way streets and bike paths along the river.
3H Private bike tour of Paris is 450 euros up to a group of 4 persons and includes the helmets, bikes, insurance, sales taxes and our guide, English speaking.

We’ll first take a long ride through the ancient districts and narrow streets of the « Marais ». Then across the Halles and the Palais Royal, heading for the Louvre and the river, we’ll be ending with the Islands and a glance at Notre-Dame.

The hilly « East End » conciliates nature and modern architecture. Canals and boats, small houses in green yards, typical districts as Belleville and Menilmontant oddly alternate with new-built places or such novelties as the Parc de la Villette.

6 am, Paris wakes up. It is the right time to discover in quietness such a famous but currently overcrowded place as Montmartre . A short but rough upward slope! Springtime and summer only, take this unique chance to see the colors of Paris change, as it lazily comes out of sleep.

Versailles
This tour allows a general view on the grand domain , from the outside. Outstanding parts of the city, then the park itself : the Grand Canal, the Trianons, the Queen’s Hamlet. The return is a gently descending slope across the woods .

Paris Guinguettes
The river Marne is a traditional resort in the outskirts. Here and there on both banks are the Guinguettes , local sorts of dancehalls. Alongside the calm waters, we’ll enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of a parisian day-off. |
