CHAMPAGNE - ALSACE - BURGUNDY TOUR

This wonderful wine tour will take you to 3 different regions of France: visits to the main sights of each region, but also wine cellars discovery and tastings. Sleep in the superb, 4-star luxe, castles/hotels of each region, eat at the best tables of renowned Chefs, and visit the finest wine cellars and wineries. This escorted tour is limited to 6 persons.

Day 1: (Saturday)

Arrival in CDG airport in Paris, morning arrival, transfer directly to your 4-star hotel. Limousine service with bilingual driver waiting for you right after clearing customs.

Meet your guide and chauffeured transport at your hotel, your guide will take you directly for lunch on the first floor of the Eiffel tower.

Afternoon, tour of the city of Paris.

Return to your hotel, evening on your own.

Day 2: Paris to Champagne (Sunday)

Breakfast.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Paris. Your guide will drive you to the Champagne region.

Arrive in the city of REIMS and visit the famous cathedral where most kings of France got crowned.

Lunch in REIMS on your own. (free time)

Afternoon, visit of Epernay, and the famous cellars of Champagne.

Check in your 4-star luxe, castle hotel , "les Crayères", property of the famous Chef, Gérard Boyer. Gastronomic dinner will be served for your enjoyment.

Day 3: Champagne to Alsace (Monday)

After breakfast, drive to Colmar in Alsace.

Check in your hotel in Colmar, famous "la maison des têtes" historical XVII century house.

Free time on your own for lunch.

Afternoon city tour of this beautiful city complete with a walking tour of Colmar.

Evening and dinner at your hotel.

Day 4: Alsace (Tuesday)

Breakfast

Full day discovery of wine cellars in Alsace, Riquwihr, Starsbourg.

Lunch on your own.

Return to Colmar. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 5: Alsace to Burgundy (Wednesday)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Comar.

Go to Belfort, and Dole (wine tasting).

Arrive in Dijon. City tour and lunch on your own.

Check in the castle of Gilly near Beaune, 4-star luxe. Evening and dinner.

Day 6: Burgundy (Thursday)

Breakfast at the castle Gilly.

Full day of discovery of the best wine cellars of Burgundy. You will start this day with a visit of the famous "clos vougeot" chateau, tastings and visit of the cellars, visit of the hospices of Beaune. Tour of the vineyard of the côtes de nuit and côtes de Beaune, visit of cellars and comparative wine tastings.(Vougeot, Nuits saint georges, Vosnee romanee, Gevrey Chambertin)

Return to the castle of Gilly, evening and dinner at the castle.

Day 7: Burgundy to Paris (Friday)

Breakfast, and some free time on your own to visit the region, or Beaune if you wish.

After lunch, check out of the castle of Gilly and return to Paris.

You will stop first in the Chablis region for a visit of a cellar and also at the castle of Fontainebleau on the way back. Visit of the castle.

Arrive to Paris and check in your 4-star hotel for the evening.

Day: 8 (Saturday)

Transportation to CDG airport.

Cost of this tour, which is limited to 6 persons, per person as listed is €3,500. Land services only in France, your airline tickets are not included. Travel insurance is not included but is recommended.
