LOIRE VALLEY & BURGUNDY TOUR

From Paris we will take you to these 2 wonderful regions of France, famous for good food and good wine. You will visit the famous sights but also the most prestigious cellars and taste the best wines France has to offer! This escorted tour is limited to 6 persons.

Day 1: (Saturday)

Arrival in CDG airport in Paris, morning arrival, transfer directly to your 4-star hotel. Limousine service with bilingual driver waiting for you right after clearing customs.

Meet your guide and chauffeured transport at your hotel, your guide will take you directly for lunch on the first floor of the Eiffel tower.

Afternoon, tour of the city of Paris.

Return to your hotel, evening on your own.

Day 2: Paris to Chartres to Loire Valley (Sunday)

Breakfast.

After breakfast your guide will drive you to the Loire valley, stop in Chartres and visit the cathedral.

Lunch on your own, and free time.

Afternoon, visit of the castle of Chambord.

Arrive at your castle, the 4-star castle, Pray in Amboise. Check in and enjoy dinner that evening.

Day 3: Loire Valley (Monday)

Breakfast at the castle Pray.

Full day of discovery of the Loire valley. City tour of Amboise and then visit of the castle of Chenonceau, one of the most beautiful castles of the region. Lunch on your own.

Afternoon, visit of cellars in Vouvray complete with wine tastings.

Return to the castle, evening and dinner at the castle.

Day 4: Alsace (Tuesday)

Breakfast, then a full day of visit of the south Loire valley. Visit of the castle of Azay le rideau, and the gardens of Villandry. Lunch on your own.

Afternoon, visit of the cellars of Chinon, and Saumur complete with wine tastings.

Evening at the castle Pray with dinner.

Day 5: Loire valley to Burgundy (Wednesday)

In the morning, after checking out of the castle Pray, your guide will drive you to Burgundy going through quaint little villages very typical of this region.

Lunch break in one of these village.

Arrive in Beaune, check in the 4-star luxe, castle of Gilly near Beaune where you will enjoy a wonderful evening and dinner.

Day 6: Burgundy (Thursday)

Breakfast at the castle Gilly.

Full day tour of the vineyards of Burgundy. You will start this day by visiting the famous château clos vougeot, and the hospices of Beaune.

Afternoon, visit of cellars in Vouvray complete with wine tastings.

Tour of the vineyards of the Côtes de nuits and visit of cellars (Vosne Romanée, Nuits saint georges, Gevrey Chambertin etc.) and the côtes de Beaune following the "route des grands vins".

Many stops in cellars and vineyards. (Lunch break is on your own)

Return to your hotel late afternoon, dinner at the castle.

Day 7: Burgundy to Paris (Friday)

After breakfast, we will check out of the Castle Gilly and head back to Paris.

You will stop first in the Chablis region for a visit of a cellar and also we will visit the castle of Fontainebleau on the way back.

Arrive in Paris and check in to your 4-star hotel. The evening is free to explore Paris on your own.

Day: 8 (Saturday)

Transportation to CDG airport.

Cost of this tour, which is limited to 6 persons, per person as listed is €3,250. Land services only in France, your airline tickets are not included. Travel insurance is not included but is recommended.
